How are the awards distributed?
They are disbursed in two payments. $10,000 is presented at the NAE4–HA Conference, and $5,000 is disbursed after the successful completion of each winner's replication plan.
Are there regional restrictions on who will receive the award?
No, but programs must serve communities of 10,000 people or less.
Do we have to do anything as a result of the award?
Yes. You are asked to complete at least five significant replication efforts, such as best practices training or technical assistance activities. The first of these will be a presentation at a Seminar at the NAE4–HA Conference where you formally receive your award, and the other four or more will be proposed and designed by you.
Are there reporting requirements?
Yes. There are two reports documenting your lessons learned from sharing your program's best practices in the above mentioned replication efforts. Your second award disbursement is contingent upon the receipt of your second and final report.
